Pacific Northwest Ratings
In updating the rankings,
we have dropped fighters that have been inactive for over two years. Should they fight again, they can reenter the
rankings list. You will note that BoxRec considers a fighter inactive after one year, thus they are listed as such rather than having a US or World ranking.
You may also notice that which weight class a fighter is listed in our rankings may not be the same as the weight class listed on BoxRec. What we have done is place fighters in the weight class in which they most often fight. In so doing we hope to see more match ups between fighters in the rankings.
We have received a lot of positive feedback about the
rankings. Thanks. We talk about the fighters we have watched
and consider how they might fare in a fight. We consider
fighters who appear on NW cards regularly, and claim homes in Washington, Oregon or Idaho (we wuold like to include Montana, so suggestions?). How do you enter in to the equation? You can make a case
for someone we left out, or for raising someone's stock.
Simply email your suggestions to either Ricky or Mike. A few rules: No anonymous submissions and don't be rude,
to either us or other fighters.
