Aaron Thompson and Jose Cervantes headlined the card in a bout scheduled for six rounds, the winner to wear the WBF Super Welterweight Title belt. Thompson entered the bout unbeaten, Cervantes, though he dropped a close decision in his last outing, brought power to the ring as his three wins had all come by knockout.
The opening round was close as Cervantes kept Thompson moving, walking him down while shooting his jab. As the round progressed, Thompson began to score using his reach to land his right. By the end of the round Thompson had gained a slight edge in punches landed. The second round was also close, and again Thompson’s reach was the difference. Both men did throw body shots, Cervantes moving to create an angle that would enable him to land a heavy right to Thompson’s ribs. Thompson made the defensive adjustment to move away from Cervantes’ assault. As the round ended, Thompson scored with combinations that landed to Cervantes’ body and head.
Thompson increased the pressure on Cervantes in the third. Thompson walked Cervantes down, keeping his jab in Cervantes’ face and following it with punches targeting Cervantes’ body. Cervantes had trouble landing punches while backing up, limiting his ability to score. Thompson backed Cervantes on to the ropes just past the midpoint of the round and landed a solid combination of a left – right body shot that dropped Cervantes. Though Cervantes stood, and continued, the pain he felt was evident. Cervantes finished the round moving to avoid getting caught again with Thompson’s power shots.
Cervantes was unable to answer the bell for the fourth round. Thompson would claim the TKO win at 3:00 of the third round to claim the WBF Title and remain unbeaten.

Cadena's left catches Johnson |
Half of Josue Cadena’s six wins had come by way of the knockout as he faced Erion Johnson, a fighter whose last win came just over two years ago. Though Johnson entered the ring with more losses than wins, he had faced some tough competition in his four of his last five bouts, and that would continue as he faced Cadena.
Cadena played to his strength in the opening round as he landed heavy body shots. Cadena first shot his left at Johnson’s ribs, and then when Johnson dropped his arm to cover, Cadena threw his right. Johnson tried to answer, but his punch output was limited as he was forced to spend a lot of time covering up. As the round came to an end Cadena landed body shot combinations that knocked Johnson across the ring. Johnson was able to land some punches in the second round when he closed the distance between the two, but that also left him open to Cadena body shots. Cadena increased pressure as the round continued landing heavy body shots with Johnson pinned on the ropes.
Johnson answered the bell for the third round throwing his jab and moving away from Cadena’s right hand. Cadena pressured Johnson on to the ropes and landed a right to Johnson’s chin that knocked his mouthpiece across the ring. Cadena then jumped toward Johnson to land a flurry body shots. When Cadena followed a body shot combination with a right to Johnson’s head, Johnson staggered across the ring. The ropes kept Johnson from landing on the canvas, but the referee saw Johnson was hurt and waved the fight to an end.
Cadena would remain unbeaten behind the TKO at :46 of the third round.

Jahelel Brito reentered the ring after a layoff of a twenty month layoff. That time away from the ring also gave Brito time to refine his boxing skills as he would be coming off three losses. Dionnta Adams was looking to win his first pro fight, and in so doing make it past the second round.
Brito used his left jab to get in close early in the first round. On one of those trips in close Brito landed a right body shot that staggered Adams and dropped him. The fight resumed and the two men stepped to the center of the ring and began to exchange punches, though Brito had the advantage in landing more hard shots. Brito landed a left to Adam’s body and followed that with a right to knock Adams across the ring. Adams’ left arm hung down as he winced in pain. The referee stepped toward Adams, asked if he wanted to continue, but Adams could not and the fight was waved to an end.
Brito would get back in the win column with the TKO at 1:32 of the opening round.

Crocklem's right will connect to Revello's body |
Unbeaten Dedrick Crocklem faced Deljerro Revello in a four round bout. Revello was coming off a two win streak in his home state of Denver, though he would be tested by Crocklem's’s power as three of his five wins had come by knockout.
Crocklem showed his power in the opening ten seconds of the fight, dropping Revello with a heavy right to the head. Revello rose and stepped toward Crocklem throwing his jab and falling into a boxing rhythm. Crocklem still controlled much of the action shooting his right hand and keeping Revello on the move. At the midpoint of the round, Crocklem scored another knockdown behind the combination. Crocklem controlled the action of the second round, walking Revello down and adding body shots to match the punches targeting Revello’s head. Crocklem scored another knockdown in the second round when Revello stepped in to a heavy right while on the ropes.
Revello had a good third round after his minute in the corner getting some instruction of how to avoid Crocklem’s power while continuing to box. Revello spent the round moving out of range of Crocklem’s right while using his reach to occasionally land a punch on Crocklem’s body. Crocklem worked to close the distance in the final round, and in so doing he was able to control the action. Revello showed some toughness in taking the blows, but he was unable to answer with enough power shots to slow Crocklem.
After four rounds all three judges scored the fight 40-33 for Crocklem who would remain unbeaten behind the unanimous decision.

In the card’s opening bout, Keegan Vandermeer, a fighter with experience as a boxer, both amateur and pro, bare knuckle fighting, and MuyThai faced local heavyweight Ryan Bailey. Bailey has been refocused in the gym since a loss and a unanimous draw in his last two outings. Vandermeer had suffered a knockout loss in his debut as a pro boxer.
Vandermeer answered the opening bell and quickly stepped to Bailey and threw quick punches, dominated by a long straight right. Bailey covered, and answered firing rights at Vandermeer’s body, but his output did not match Vandermeer. Vandermeer backed Bailey onto the ropes and landed a combination to Bailey’s body, and then a right to Bailey’s head, dropping him to the canvas in the first minute of the fight. Vandermeer did not slow his punch output, throwing with both hands, forcing Bailey to cover up while limiting the punches he threw in answer. Vandermeer again caught Bailey on the ropes and landed a body shot that dropped Bailey for the second time. Though Bailey rose to continue, his power right did not slow Vandermeer. With Bailey covering up in the corner, Vandermeer threw body shots forcing the referee to step in and stop the fight.
Vandermeer would claim the TKO win at 2:11 of the first round.
